The article is incoherent. It contains no verifiable data, is based on a mistaken premise, and was written by someone who doesn't have a basic grasp of his subject.

The part about "derivative debt" was particularly bizarre.

Pension funds already own massive amounts of US public and private debt and have done so for as long as they have existed.

If just the part about the Government telling these funds where they must invest their money is incoherent, then I do not see where we have anything to discuss.

You know people and entities purchase health insurance all the time, but now the Government tells them they must and pretty much which policies they must buy, but then that is most likely incoherent to you as well.

Yeah, I noticed the same things. Utter rubbish.
