I use “gay” (always in double-quotes) to denote the activist language that THEY use, never in the context in which they use it. In fact, I have lately refused to even spell it in the traditional manner, preferring to use the novel invention, “geh.”

I earned mine in 1977. Our son earned his on the Feast of St. Joseph, 19 MAY 2013. A before and after designation seems fitting, as in Eagle Scout, BHD (Before Homosexual Decision) or Eagle Scout, AHD (After Homosexual Decision). 01 JAN 2014 being the dividing line.
