1. What is climate? Upon what does climate depend?
2. How do you account for the extremes of climate in Kansas?

Yesterday I saw my dog, sitting up on my porch, waiting for me to feed him; just as he always had done for many, many years. He’s a black lab, with a shiny black coat and a soft mouth. You could hold him and lead him by his mouth and he would not hurt you when he closed his mouth on your hand. He was a fantastic companion for a young boy growing up in the country.

When I went up to go and feed him, it took me awhile to find him some food. I managed to find him an egg which I first ground up with a whisk and then placed in a light, metal bowl which clanged when I dropped it on the porch. I’m not sure why I couldn’t find his food. We usually kept it in the same place in the closet for years. When I went to place the bowl, my dog was gone! Then I remembered, I haven’t had a dog in some 4 years, not since Parsec passed on. Was that him?

7 at 50 is 350. Incidentals are 104 for 454 dollars total. Would work out to be a levy of 454/35000. 1 percent is 350. .1 is 35 dollars. You would require 1.3 percent on the levy to obtain sufficient income to provide for the school.

6. Find the interest of $512.60 for 8 months and 18 days at 7 percent.

512.60 at 1.07. 1 percent would be 5.126 per month. 7 would be 35. .126 is about .125 or 1/8th so 7 would be 7/8ths.

Monthly charge of 512.6 is 35 and 7/8th dollars a month.

Daily charge would be 1/30th of 35 7/8ths. = 35/30 7/240 = 7/6 7/240 x 18 = 7 (18) / 6 7(18)/ 240 70 + 56 = 126/6 126/240 =

Total interest then would be 35 7/8ths (7) + 31 21/40 = 210 + 35 + 49/8 + 31 + 21/40 = 245 + 31 + 49/8 + 21/40 = 276 + 200/40 + 72/40 + 21/40 = 276 + 293/40.

276 293/40 + 0.007 + 7/1000 x 18/30 = 276 293/40 + 126/30000

= 276 + 293/40 + 42/10000 = 276 + 293/40 + 21/5000 = 276 + 293 (500) + 21 (4) / 20000 = 100000 + 45000 + 1500 + 84 /20000 = 276 + 146584/20000 = 276 + 73292/10000 = 276 + 7.3292 = 283.3292 dollars total. Exactly.

Unless it compounds monthly? Then I’d have to use my compounding tables.
