the grads prolly tuned out most of what he said political or otherwise...Okay. That was what reporters and outsiders might be listening for, but that wasn’t the whole speech. There was plenty of the “we’re proud of you” stuff for the grads as well — maybe more than in some other politicians’ commencement speeches. Outsiders tune that stuff out, just as the grads probably let the political stuff go in one ear and out the other.
