The Scouts still use the Buddy System. What happens when no one wants to be Buddies with the Gay kid? No Scout is allowed to be alone in a tent.

The buddy system will no longer work. The first is obvious for the reason you mentioned. But there is another angle. For adults we use 2 deep leadership to protect the youth, but it is also to protect the adults from false accusations. With the current buddy system you could have a normal scout with a homosexual scout, and the normal scout makes a false accusation against the homosexual. As leaders we have no choice but to act and report the homosexual, how would we know it is a false report?

Scouting will have to go to triplet buddies for this reason.
