Of course, the problem with urging people to use a hashtag like this one is that theres a way to measure your ads effectiveness. And this one isnt doing that well.
If you dont count current Markey campaign and other Democratic political staff, political consultants, abortion-rights groups that are backing Markey, journalists writing about the ad, and people mocking the hashtag, about 13 real honest-to-goodness people have actually tweeted or retweeted this hashtag in the ten hours or so since it was posted online.

I worked on his campaign for State Rep when I was in high school because his girlfriend was my sister’s best friend. Plus he was a BC guy who lived around the corner from me. I also bought into the Kennedy BS at that time and Nixon wanted me to go to Vietnam. When I grew up I realized that yes, Markey was just like the Kennedys. Of course I knew what that really meant. God forgive me!
Ed Markey should retire gracefully....never mind.
And, the other shoe drops — Markey’s pretending to worry about Iranian hacker threats against the power grid because he has to face the voters.
