Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said Wednesday that he doesnt trust members of his own party to negotiate a budget conference report.
Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) asked for a 10th time for unanimous consent to form a budget committee conference to work out the differences between the House and Senate budgets, but Republicans objected unless conferees are prohibited from raising the debt ceiling.
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said he thought it was bizarre that member of his own party didnt trust that the House Republicans wouldnt hold the party line in negotiations.
I love ted Cruz!
No, that’s why we need to decapitate the Republican party by eliminating the current RNC and replacing it with a NEW RNC ~ I’ve discussed this numerous times. just look up FreeRepublic MUawiyah NEW RNC
Cruz’s remarks also remind me of Gunning Bedford Jr.’s remarks at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, “I do not, gentlemen, trust you!”
The GOP needs to be rehabilitated or taken out back of the barn and put out its compromising, cowardly misery. Tea time or end the facade.
I wouldn’t trust McCain to walk my dog.
Click on the link above and tell him so.
“It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonored by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice; ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government; ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.
|
Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not possess? Ye have no more religion than my horse; gold is your God; which of you have not barterd your conscience for bribes? Is there a man amongst you that has the least care for the good of the commonwealth?
|
Ye sordid prostitutes have you not defild this sacred place, and turnd the Lords temple into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices? Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation; you were deputed here by the people to get grievances redressd, are yourselves gone! So! Take away that shining bauble there, and lock up the doors.

In the name of God, go!”
— Oliver Cromwell, Dissolution of the Long Parliament, given to the House of Commons, 20 April 1653
John McCain looked me in the eye and said to me, “NO AMNESTY.” We were at an event this last election. I told him that his votes made it “difficult” to trust him. So I said, right here, in front of all these people, I want you to tell us that you will not vote for any kind of amnesty. He promised he wouldn’t. I said to him..Senator McCain, “SAY IT...SAY I WILL NOT VOTE FOR AMNESTY OF ANY KIND.”
Term limits.
I wouldn`t trust the republiCRAT party with my dirty shorts.
Cruz gets it....too bad too many liberal PhonyCons don’t
Is this guy for real!? He sounds waaaaay too good.
Me neither, Ted.
I prefer a declared enemy to a supposed ally who will stab me in the back.
bump
When is McCain’s term up anyway? Do you know if he will be running for reelection?
I'd still trust any of the above over a Democrat however.
2016 and probably.
As we watch Lame-Brain McCain descend from RINO to Wacko-Bird to Bizarre, one has to ask: “ How low can McCain go?
My guess is that he will soon switch political parties and become a Democrat.
They just re-elected him this past cycle.
I want the Vichy Republicans to be booted out of power! Their party REPLACED by another! Now they only serve as Straw men for the Progs—to be defeated with a few slick ads on TV. Look what they did to Mitt? Dole? even McCain? Look what they did to one of there own—Sarah Palin? Nope—time for USIP. A Third Party destined to be the 2nd Party—then the first. Once—in the 1850s—The Republicans were a 3rd Party.
Go get ‘em Cruz. This is why I voted for ye.
