They were going to haul in Apples CEO, CFO, and head of Tax Operations to browbeat them over their lack of what, patriotism? Dumbness? for having avoided tax liability last year.
This was supposed to provide a little diversion from a week of wall-to-wall Obama administration scandals. Instead, Sen. Rand Paul rained on everyones parade, providing an exemplary rebuttal of the brain-dead populism that politicians so often engage in when it comes to corporate America.

There are only two politicians that I supreme confidence in. Number one: Sarah P. Number two: Rand P.

It did feel like a show trial. Good for Rand Paul and his defense of freedom. I am not an Apple fan. It is ironic that their only defender is the one many of the apple people demonized, and their demons were they ones they thought were their friends.

It ticked off the doddering nincompoop, McVain. Just for the entertainment value, put points in Paul's presidential aspirations.
Has anyone else noticed how Rubio is packin' on the pounds and losing his hair? He's starting to LOOK like McVain!

McCain is the biggest boob in Washington.
I’ve grown tired of Rubio too. He’s hanging with a bunch of idiots.

One of the few coherent people in DC. He usually states his case very well.
I believe he would do very well debating any liberal democrat running for president.

Same here, and that smarmy ad saying that Rubio’s amnesty deal is a conservative bill really turned me off of both Rubio and Paul Ryan.

We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said. [Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften war stance]

One day after announcing on his radio show that he is "truly considering" running in 2014 for the U.S. Senate seat now held by New Jersey's Frank Lautenberg, Rivera amped up his message today in a television interview and a column on the Fox News Latino website... a moderate Republican who is fiscally conservative but also supports gay marriage and Roe v.
