i never told you anything... i simply ask how a direct deposit account they have the routing number for could stop the IRS from freezing your account let alone taking the money? or are you saying you open another account and hand deposit checks into it?

They can be when they want to be.
I had an outstanding obligation for which the IRS was deducting the max allowable 15% from my monthly SS payment. About two years ago, my SS direct deposit hit the bank at 12:01 one Wednesday morning. By 7:30 that morning, the IRS had extracted the entire balance from my account.
Esentially, they told me: "Yeah, we can only take 15% from your payment; we can take the other 85% when you deposit it in your bank." (It took me several days to get that charlie-foxtrot resolved and my money back.)
When the US goes to a FairTax, or goes back to pre-1913 federal revenue raising (tariffs and import duties), then we can dump the IRS.
Unfortunately... too many still would rather keep the IRS and pay income taxes.
