Well here goes. Since you ask I'll try to keep it simple so as not to challenge your attention span or intellect (or that of the other nimrod who posted the thing in the first place).
This is a forum. Opinions are posted of forums. That is the purpose of forums - to post and discuss opinions. (With me so far?)
Now it gets tricky, let me know if I've lost you. NOT EVERYONE AGREES ON FORUMS. If you post your work in an attempt to get more hits on a web site, then you are inviting comments on that work. (Did you understand that?)
Now comes the really hard part that you and the other little tootsie fail to understand. NOT ALL OF THOSE COMMENTS WILL PRAISE YOUR MAGNUS OPUS -oops big word, sorry - EDITORIAL. Now wait for it: Some comments will actually be critical - imagine that.
My comment was one of the critical ones. Specifically that miss tootsie roll was stating the obvious. Have I lost you yet?
Now rather than think, "Yes it is kind of obvious." the writer attacked the messenger. This is the kind of reaction you get from pompous self-important people. I'm reminded of 0bama's tantrum in the rose garden when his gun control legislation failed to pass the senate. Same reaction. So rather than try and dispute (sorry big word again) disagree with my statement I get called a troll for daring to disagree with the author.
And you and another equally clueless poster fail to grasp the concept here. well for all of you terminally clueless

Or to put it another way, if you don't want to hear comments critical of your work, don't post it on a forum. Please feel free to let me know if there are any words or concepts that are too complicated for you in this post.
