The same issue came up in Hawaii a few years ago.
One of the rationales proposed (by a State legislator!) for lowering the age of consent to 13 was so that girls from poor families could get out of poverty by becoming mistresses of older more wealthy men.
I kid you not.
These people are beyond sick.
Enough sinful actions by individuals and politicians have been committed that should anger God to once again destroy this world. These evil ones think they can get away with tempting God and denying Him.
The various denominations of this world are as complicit in this as are the demonic political classes. The Catholic Church, that prior to Vatican II, was a beacon that shed truthful light on societal ills. Now the bishops, who have helped in creation of a new religion to replace Roman Catholicism, won’t refuse communion to the evil politicians who support abortion.
Most of these bishops are Democrat puppets.
