RUBIO: Gang o' 8 Immigration Bill 'Might Have Trouble in the Senate' and 'Can't Pass the House'

After initial confident talk from the Gang-of-Eight and left-wing babblemeisters -some speaking of 70+ votes in the Senate- suddenly the ill-advised immigration legislation recently touted as near-inevitable is looking wobbly... same script (so far) as a recent congressional offensive against the 2nd Amendment,
how bout that:
The bill thats in place right now probably cant pass the House, Rubio told Mike Gallagher, a nationally syndicated talk show host.
'It will have to be adjusted, because people are very suspicious about the willingness of the government to enforce the laws now.'
He continued: 'That is a very legitimate suspicion, its one that I share, and if theres anything we can do to make [the bill] even tighter... thats exactly what we should be working on.'
Sounds nice, and thanks for admitting that border control sucks. But much like Obamacare, this bill has so much BAD in it, there ain't no fixin it, dude. And while we're not trusting any promises on border enforcement, what good are even LAWS when the vile Obama Administration only enforces the ones that fit their own agenda?
For starters, the thing is 844 pages long... if you all insist on such a complicated 'solution', maybe we need quite a bit more time to disinfect this thing with sunlight, eh? What's the rush, Senator?
You, McLame, Linseed, and Democrats are the only ones I see in some sort of hurry- with the rest of us left wondering why.
The bill also does little to keep the newly-blessed immigrants out of the welfare trough, pretends it will force back taxes out of them, does squat to improve border security, and promises faux 'triggers' while handing WAY too much power to Obama's highly politicized and militarized DHS.
Maybe that's why it's now in-trouble in even the Democratically-controlled Senate! As these senators likely already knew, now the electorate has figured-out what a joke their empty border-security promises are, and a few of these senators are getting cold feet- as well they should.
Marco Rubio is operating a hard-sell offensive based on a number of false assumptions, chief amongst them being that 'We're not going to deport 11M people' who came here illegally- why not? WHY is ANY deportation off-the-table? WHY is it all-or-nothing? Can't we at least pick through 'em?
WHY do we need to have 'a path to citizenship', either? Why do we OWE this to anybody- or how on Earth does it possibly benefit the United States of America? And why are you guys purporting this to be a long and arduous task for immigrants seeking such citizenship, when you know the bill is full of shortcuts?
Again -as with Obamacare- the presentation of 'what it will do' and the reality we deduce with our own reason just don't match up here. Once it starts to smell funny -and it seems we're being scammed- it's hard to trust these people on anything they say, and this thing already stinks like trash-truck juice.
Anything that gets millions of poor immigrants in the voting booth within the next decade is SUICIDE for the Republican party... 3rd world economic refugees are ready-made Dems, and THEY know it, along with just about everybody else on the planet with the possible exception of the Gang-of-Eight's Gee Oh Pee suicide battalion...

Republican house stopped Bush’s Amnesty and it is they who might stop it again. even if they do stop it R’s will still get blame. the R House stopped gun control this year but only blame is what they get.

This is more bait and switch.
No Amnesty. no new laws
repeal the 1965 immigration act( This is what caused immigration to come from the 3rd world which in turn provided a home base for further illegal immigration)
repeal Obamacare
keep repealing laws

Go back to the drawing board, come up with something that EVERYONE can support and then resubmit it. (I know that not “everyone” will support the bill but include something that the other side “can’t live without”. SOmetimes you have to give something to get something.

No, no new laws. 99% of what Congress passes just creates more government and draws in more immigrants.
This is more bait and switch.

“...people are very suspicious about the willingness of the government to enforce the laws ...” Suspicious huh? How about: “People” have witnessed a systematic disregard for the law, and selective enforcement of the law since the 1986 “reform” bill and we have been overrun by something like 30 million illegals, few of whom share our values. This is not suspicion, it is an acknowledgement of reality. We all know how this will go down if such a bill were to pass. We all know they are lying through their teeth, if for no other reason that Yuckie Schumer is one of its major proponents. Thank God in heaven this will never get past the House. Complete waste of time. Hugely disappointed in Rubio.

The D Senate stopped gun control this year. Four Repubics voted for it so it was even Bi-Partisan. It never got to the R House.
That is why Odumbo got so pissy when it failed in the Senate, because that was his ace in the hole to blame it on the R House so he could campaign for a D House in 2014 to make his “transformation” complete before 2016 and his eventual Bloomberg style coronation. Get it yet?

Yes. Ted Kennedy’s 1965 law was the beginning of the end for our country. Repeal Third World immigration, repeal family “reunification” and get rid of birthright citizenship, the three pillars of our destruction.

It’s a good thing that the House is regularly up for election, and that politics is mostly local for them.

During Bush's amnesty, 90% of democrats in Congress voted for Amnesty
The only thing that stopped Bush's Amnesty is that Republicans in Congress voted 90% against Bush's Amnesty
ditto for Gun Control, UN Arms treaty, Hillarycare and all the major bills
only difference was Obamacare where ALL 100% of democrats in Congress voted to pass Obama care, 100% of Republicans in Congress voted against Obamacare

Yes and most of those 3rd world immigrants vote democrat so we see why the country is moving to the left and former conservative states like California are now liberal cess pools.

Corporate lobby freaks. They are the ones doing the job nobody wants them to do. This one really lights me up.
I’m so done with Rubio and his nonstop jabbering over this monster of a bill that does NOTHING to stop the flow.

“repeal Obamacare
keep repealing laws “
EXACTLY- there’s no ‘bipartisan’ deals that could take me in with this congress/WH right now
