Makes me proud to say that he was at my pre-wedding dinner. Of course, it was at the “Rat Pack is Back” dinner in Vegas, and he just happened to be in the audience, but still, I’ll take it.
If you put 300 infants in plastic garbage bags and dumped them in a landfill, they only thing they'd find objectionable would be the plastic.
So congrats for locating one guy whose innate decency is still intact.
They say, "How can you prove that the unborn is human?" Seriously, it's not the unborn's humanity that's in question. It's ours.
Unless and until an overwhelming majority of women (who are supposed to be life givers) take a firm stand against the atrocities of abortion, even G-d will not help us (forgive me, Almighty).
I agree. But in defense of the studio execs, who would risk their career on Mel Gibson's idea? Even the recent series about the Bible was a 'revelation' (pun intended) to the execs. Nobody thought it would do as well as it has.
The Passion of the Christ cost $45 million all-in. That’s including marketing.
That’s ... pretty cheap for a film. It’s half the price of the ‘Green Mile’ (another period-piece film covering the drama surrounding an execution) and with a much more obvious audience appeal.
The only reason an exec would have lost his job green-lighting The Passion is because he would have been bucking Left-wing ideology.
If Hollywood is about money, where are the follow-up films about Christ? After all, it’s not as if they’d have to pay Gibson royalties for the subject matter!
In some measure, but not all. Mel Gibson was radioactive after his drunken rants. If execs saw a half billion pay day, that is pretty strong incentive. They just did not see it IMHO.
OK, you make a decent point about them plausibly being shy of Gibson.
Ah, so that's the text of his post. Very blunt - good on him!
I think Sorbo has always been pretty right of center. He was in that An American Carol movie a few years ago (which was pretty funny and underrated, IMHO).
You forgot the sarc tag. That was the worst movie I have EVER watched and I watch a ton of them. It was absolutely embarrassing.
hope Kevin enjoyed his career. Hes done in Hollywood.
Kinda wrong. The woman from Everybody loves Raymond is very conservative and now is the star of The Middle in it’s fourth year.
BS. Go away dweeb.
