It happened during Katrina. Homeowners that remained in their home to protect it were thrown to the ground and disarmed when the police asked if they had any weapons.
I remember seeing those thugs ruffing an elderly woman and taking her gun and how upset she was. I felt sorrier for her than the thieving, raping, murdering people the cops should have been disarming.
