I think Boston did the best they could with the situation they had. Of course armchair quarterbacks will condemn the decision, but I think it was brilliant and a 100 percent success! Congrats to the entire city of Boston!!! What a first rate city!

"armchair quarterbacks" exactly, these are the same people who would have been pissing their pants if they were in Watertown yesterday.

Had some CIVILIAN not gone outside, the perp, who breached the LEO's perimeter, would of bled to death, lol.

Also, apprehension of the older brother was sloppy to say the least (Police shooting their wad with an Islamic sociopath, of course the LEOs/civilians are prevented from thinking that) plus MA guns laws turn their citizens into sitting ducks (Maybe your only point, but most freepers would probably have gone through the hassle to arm themselves).

Had this happened in San Antonio, I would have no problem going outside with a Glock in check (Maybe quit electing incompetent totalitarians perhaps one might feel safer in MA).

Of course, I faced IDF several times in my life and made peace with the Risen Lord, so apologies if I sound insincere.

LOL! you're delusional. The streets are dangerous in every metropolitan area. Why not just have perpetual martial law? Oh wait, that what this was practice for. I

Overreaction is an understatement. This was a grotesque show of power , (we are in charge, you are not, peons!!)If anyone's home was entered by LEOs under duress or intimidation , the city should be sued big time.
