Hey, all you incredibly dumb and uninformed Americans, I’m Lindsey Graham. I’m a really, really, REALLY smart lawyer from South Carolina. Almost as smart as John Edwards and Elena Kagan.
Because I am from South Carolina, some of you uninformed BIGOTS might call me a “cracker.”
Actually, that suits me just fine because that would make me a Graham Cracker. So if you don’t like my position (most often bent over Obama’s or Harry Reid’s desk) on globull warming, immigration, the Kagan nomination or those OTHER unimportant issues (I slept through those classes on factual evidence in law school) – because I AM a Graham Cracker -- y'all can

Retirement from Congress would give Lindsey more time to fight in all those wars he’s anxious to get the US in. He might do good work for al-Qaeda in Syria or maybe he can parachute into Iran to save the world from the unstoppable Persian juggernaut.

Why don’t 15 or 16 MORE conservatives run against him in the primaries? That way, the conservative vote will be diluted and he will win all the stupid-party GOP votes, and stay in office!! THAT is a darn fine strategy, and with 2 announced and 1 “considering” we have a very auspicious beginning toward such an outcome.

SC has an open primary. He is acting like a “moderate” Dem to attract Dem votes in the primary. The system is broken. We need closed primaries in all states.

Don’t get too excited. He’s an incumbent. Incumbency is difficult to beat.
IIRC, 6 years ago, general polls showed him in decline too, but he got reelected by a wide margin.
