U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which detained two undocumented Irishmen earlier this week in Boston on charges of fraudulently obtaining driver’s licenses, stated that is not specifically targeting the Boston Irish community.Irish Central has also learned that the men first came to the attention of ICE investigators based on prior convictions for driving offenses.

“First and foremost, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) does not conduct ‘sweeps or raids’ to target illegal aliens indiscriminately. Our efforts in Massachusetts and nationwide are all targeted—targeting individuals that meet our civil immigration enforcement priorities,” ICE spokesperson Russ Feinstein said on Friday. …If they are illegal aliens, how can targeting them be considered in any way “indiscriminate”?

Maybe these Irish can claim to be long-lost relatives of O’bama...like his Uncle Omar in Framingham?
It sounds like ICE has received their marching orders from Barack the Kenyan. “Start deporting white people!”
Their real crime is being European.

Deport their Irish asses to be sure...but send Obama’s illegal alien Aunt and Uncle out with ‘em!
But Aunt Zetuti and Uncle Obummer are still here even though they’ve scammed the welfare system, had driving infractions and smell bad.
The Irish, OTOH, are hard working and maybe taking jobs away from illegals.
The word “paddy” was once an ethnic slur. It was in reference to Irish immigrants who got drunk and stupid on the streets of New York, right off the Ellis Island potato boats. The cops would go out in big trucks and collect them, and they called those trucks “paddy wagons”. And that phrase still lingers in the American lexicon. Is this a great country, or what?
My heritage is Irish and Mexican, 100% American.
Round up all illegals regardless of country of origin. Deport them all.
The Paddy Wagon got its name from Irishmen, often referred to as Paddies- or Padraigs- Irish for Patrick.
And It’s not entirely clear if it refers to the people IN the wagon or the cops putting them IN the wagon, or both.
NYPD has a strong Irish heritage as does the FDNY.
Why deny it? Isn’t it ICE’S job to deport illegals? Are the Irish exempt? Why? What have they done for us lately?
