Any opportunity to pick old scabs is pure gold to the race baiters. There will never be an end to the repetition of any incident, no matter how long ago or however it may have been erased by behavior since then. There can never be any forgiveness, there can never be any citation of the progress made since those earlier times, there can only be suggestions of retribution and reparation and there can only be a neverending blame of whites for the condition of blacks.
