It’s hard to feel sorry for anyone that STILL sends their kids to public schools. There are almost ALWAYS options, even if it means living in a crappy apartment, in a crappy neighborhood.

Amen to that - why are the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts meeting in hostile territory any way (public bldgs) - aren’t there enough churches out there that would invite them for their meetings? Cub scouts used to meet in the Den leader’s home back in ancient times. This is getting ridiculous.

How do you know that the kids attend the school? I have a boy scout troop that meets at a public school. We have kids from all over the place, i.e. way beyond the borders of just the elementary school that we meet at.

We happen to be sponsored by the PTA at the school too.

Go figure?

Did I mention this is Alameda county! Probably the most liberal county in the US!
