The book doesn’t touch on the states, just the basic structure of government. They’re mentioned, but only structurally. But I am considering a sequel book covering checks to government power, which would include state powers.

If you do not write the the states were the center of power when the USC was ratified and the the FedGov was created by and for the states, then you book is worthless.
