As a lot of reviewers on YouTube stated: Best Bang for the Buck. Only $99 for current MetroPCS customers but if you are new...$49. Check out the reviews. They were mostly very enthusiastic. Oh, and a battery charge should last you at least 10 hours of usage. LG Motion.

One other thing, it is a 4G LTE Android phone which means I can watch videos from YouTube on the phone even when not in a WiFi hot spot. I did this today to when showing the phone to a friend.

The $70.00 rebate on the LG Motion just ended and I think they have a $50.00 rebate on it now, but it takes a while to receive it.

I bought one 5 months ago for $150.00 when they first came out and they are great phones, but the screen is a bit small for my old eyes (3.5”)

Also, it is listed as having a 1.2GHz CPU, but actually the CPU is 1.5 GHz.

I just upgraded to the LG Spirit while it still had a $70.00 rebate. Basically the same phone, but with a few enhancements and a 4.5” screen, plus it’s thinner, lighter and has a longer battery life.

I paid $229.00 thru Wirefly.com - free shipping and no tax.
I’m sending in the rebate paperwork this week, so it will cost me $159.00 and I will also sell my LG Motion this week on eBay as well as my old iPhone, so between the rebate and selling my other cell phones, I will come out ahead.

Between the LG Motion and the LG Spirit, I would advise spending the extra coin on the LG Spirit.

If you’re on a budget, the LG Motion is a great phone and the best 4G “Bang for the Buck” phone on the market.
1.5GHz Dual Core CPU
1 GB RAM
5 GB ROM with a provision for a 32 GB Micro SD Card
5MP 1080P HD video and still camera.
Fast 4G LTE
Android 4.0 “Ice Cream Sandwich” Operating System.

Carrier is Metro PCS and when I bought my LG Motion, they had a monthly promo price of $30.00 for unlimited calls and texts, plus 250MB of Data which I rarely use as I have WiFi at home and at work.

If you go over your limit, Metro doesn’t charge you extra but they throttle your 4G speed down to 3G

They have other plans that offer more Data as well.

The best part is that you can buy the phone from Wirefly, Amazon, or whoever is selling it for the lowest cost and still get the rebate.

The Metro PCS service is great and the 4G LTE is fast.
I get about 7 MBPS D/L speed.

Check the map on their web site to see if you are in their service area.

Also, Metro will be merging with T-Mobile later this year and will honor existing monthly plan prices.

Right now, the lowest priced plan is $40.00 per month, but the best part is that you own the phone, you can sell it and buy another one like I did and you’re not handcuffed to an expensive 2-year contract like I was with AT&T, who I was paying $80.00 per month for the privilege of using an expensive iPhone with spotty reception and lots of dropped calls.

The service from Metro PCS has been top-notch. No “dead” spots, no dropped calls, etc...

The prices on these phones just went up and the rebates lowered from $70 to $50 yesterday.

I highly recommend either phone. Check wirefly.com for better pricing and download the rebate form from the Metro PCS site and they will honor the rebate.

The LG Motion is best bang for the buck, while I would put the LG Spirit just a notch below the $500.00 Samsung S-3

They’re both great phones.
