Before Newt Gingrich and the GOP try to peddle this insanely ridiculous "Reince Revolution" baloney (seriously- with a straight face he said that????) I would like to get out front with what I think would be an UN-BEATABLE ticket in 2016
Palin/Bachman
They would get ALL the GOP vote and at least half the Women's vote from Democrats.
Plus they would SPEAK THE TRUTH instead of GOP-approved pablum, and -like when Ronald Reagan spoke the truth- the PEOPLE WOULD LOVE IT
There may be life after Obama, but what form will it take?
I hate to sound negative, but I bet our next candidate will be Jeb Bush or Chris Christie.
Palin/Paul and you have a deal.
It will probably look Hildabeastly. A very ugly lifeform.
And Palin is for a pathway to citizenship.
I’m sure that’s different though. LOL
I’m still for a Ltc. Allen West/Palin ticket.
Bachmann consultant Ed Rollins: Palin hasnt been serious for years
Bachmann campaign manager rips Palin: She 'has not been serious' (Ed Rollins, naturally!)
Michele Bachmann's First Big Mistake - Hiring Ed Rollins (Update: Ed double-downs on Palin again)
Rollins: Bachmann stayed clear of attacking Romney in hopes of VP slot
We certainly don’t want another ‘historical’ election (first woman president!) - especially if Hillary is going to be the Dem nominee. How about Susanna Martinez of NM for the top of the ticket & someone with strong foreign policy creds for her VP. Not sure who that might be, but at least one poll I saw says that Romney lost based on lack of foreign policy experience (as ridiculous as that is!).
The quiet and unflashy Gov. Bentley of AL.
Or perhaps it might look like Pelosiraptor. A fearsome, brainless bird.
Our side continues the women rivalry instead of going after the real enemies. LOL
Truth is, neither of these ladies have a prayer in 2016. In fact, our side will have a tough time whoever we run.
And everyone knows why.
I like both of these women, but this is pure fantasy. The American electorate will by majority vote for whatever the liberal ( ie democrat ) flavor of the day is. Right now my money is on Hillary if she stays healthy.
I think Christie may get the R nomination after the party sells its soul on social issues and he will lose badly.
As unlikely as it is, a bigger question for me is would the GOP-E even stand by and allow such a ticket? I’d expect inside sabotage before it could ever reach such a point.
Bachman is for amnesty. And how do we know Palin might not quit again?
I don’t see any reason to believe Palin intends to run and I think Bachmann intends to sit out the next round.
Besides, FReepers lack the moral courage to accept the minor flaws of either.
How about Martinez and Gen. Mattis? :)
I doubt either will be running in 2016.
“What difference does it make”?
I’ve never even heard of him. No way most of Americans have.
Who's NOT for amnesty, these days? Here's something that has me truly appalled...
Several Tea Party Leaders Back Sen. Pauls Amnesty Approach.
Sal Russo, who founded the Tea Party Express, applauded Paul's immigration proposal and admired his "willingness to stand up and take a principled stand" on immigration.
FreedomWorks CEO Matt Kibbe said of Paul..."proposing citizenship for illegal aliens is a "calculated risk," but Paul's proposal is in the "framework of our principals." Kibbe said immigration is not an issue that FreedomWorks champions although his group has previously supported amnesty.
Tea Party Patriots leader Jenny Beth Martin said immigration isnt one of her groups main issues but they are "aligned" with Paul on the issue of border security.

Has the Tea Party been co-opted by elites?
