Ever see the ones with the .50 cal mounted on a rotating turret on top? I worked across the street from a company that built those armored turrets. MRAP’s are basically tanks with rubber tires, built specificly for close-in urban combat.

Since I’m from Alabama....where exactly in the state will I be expecting urban combat? (sarcasm included here)

The Bama-Auburn game?

Maybe it’s a perfect vehicle for DC, Philly, Chicago or Dallas. Beyond that....this is pretty questionable spending to me.
