"Looks like Yardstick didn’t have the courtesy to ping you about your own thread."

Good...I'm the fortunate one.

I don't bother with that misguided POS anymore.

That article is the one that crossed the line for me in terms of prepper posting activity on FR. That’s when I realized that you guys were posting some pretty unhealthy stuff here. It’s one thing to talk about heirloom seeds or whatever. It’s another to fantasize at length about how the “cretins” who dare to doubt your prepper advice will die.

But who posted a direct wish to see a fellow Freeper personal die a very gursome death?

No, my post was just an unserious zombie movie reference.

I mean sick posts like this:

The (NP) is totally helpless after SHTF, will have to rely totally on charity of those prepared to live. They will take all sorts of desperate measures likely to get them shot. They’ll attempt to eat hazardous foods like an animal trapped in a house will do, and get sick and suffer much before dying. The (NP) will likely die (ugly and hard) as they lived, unprepared for anything.

And then multiply times about thirty as he dwells on his theme at length.

As for courtesy pinging Blam, he got upset when I dubbed his article Blam's Inferno and mocked it. He announced that he had put me on his ignore list. So I figure there's no use in pinging him.

Lol — are you tattling on me for using a common zombie movie reference?

I know you preppers don’t get out much, but come on.

It must be somewhere that is easy to get to, without driving on the interstate or other major roadway. It's of no use if you can't get to it.

It would not be visible from a distance or from the road. It should be in a forested area, both for concealment and fuel.

It should have a natural source of water. A river might be better than a lake, but there are advantages to both. Still, I think I would prefer a river. It would be best if the structure was not visible from the river, though. People travel on the river.

If you had meant it that way I would have shruged it off, but you didn’t. You honestly wish preppers horrible deaths so to prove yourself right. You are a very sick person and possible a danger to others.

A man will tell you his intentions if you listen, really listen to his words. Your words betray you.

I am exploring that option myself. You are right there are many out of the way places in most cities. A rundown industrial park for example. No one lives there so unlike anyone around to note your movements and most likely nothing of real value there either so nothing to attract looters.

Of course I don’t wish horrible deaths on preppers. What I do wish is for FR to be free of the vindictive, paranoid, corny, persecution-complex-filled articles that preppers too often post around here. The contempt for those who don’t buy into the SHTF predictions and the prepper lifestyle is palpable — and I don’t like it. I don’t like having to share space with that here on FR. Furthermore I will say that prepping, at least in its hard core form, isn’t even conservative, but rather is escapist and defeatist. It just wants to sit back and watch the country burn.

Your words in your post betray you.

The fact that you and you alone of all the great number of FReepers repeatedly post such shows you to be fixated with hate. A reasonable, a sane person may post his objections and position a few times and use logical and sane augments, but you sir anyone reading you post can seen for themselves the fanatical hate you have for those who only wish to be able to proved for themselves should hard times befall them.

Your hate has grown to an obsession any one reading you post on these threads can see how it has grown. In all seriousness I hope that you would reach out for help as I truly see you as a danger to others though I doubt that in your self-righteous war on preppers you can see it. As to your claim you truly have no wish for harm to preppers clearly shows that you are aware of just how deep and fanatical your hate has become.

I have repeatedly shown were my work have if not actually saved lives have keep many from suffering many are the post and e-mails of thanks. Tell me what having your ravings on these threads done? What good have you accomplished? Who have you helped? Who even has came to your defense and agreed with you and you position? What good other than a release for your own pent up rage have your post done?

Who’s going to help the unprepared when the country’s economy collapses?

It sure as H won’t be folks who refused to prepare for it.

I’m dead in the SHTF scenario and you are happy about that.

I am totally toast in the Zombie Apocalypse.

I have an opening for a milk-maid and a rented mule, if you'd like to apply for either of those positions. ;)

“I don’t like having to share space with that here on FR”

So don’t come on the prepper threads. Its really pretty simple.

I’ve been through hurricanes and other disruptive events. Being able to take care of myself and my family was vital and American. Depending on the government to babysit you isn’t American.

Hope you checked the red/blue political map before deciding where to relocate. There are areas in Texas that are liberal strongholds.
