And when the GOP loses, you'll get the Karl Rove types going on TV and posting even in this forum that it is the fault of people like said conservatives, rather than the very poor choices of the GOPe.

Karl Rove can take a running jump.

It’s clear to me that this is all about Rob Portman. It’s the Ohio GOPe’s attempt to make him feel still welcome, and to normalize his views. It will cost them. Portman won’t win reelection.
