He’s trying to fool the people into thinking he was playing a rope a dope in the democratic primary. What’s really going on is he’s a democrat politician trying to make a name for himself (navy seal, etc) and keep a conservative from getting the republican nomination at the same time.
Before long, he’ll be running for something as an independent or a democrat “because the republican party has moved away from me.” We’re all wise to this game now. Arlen Specter, Charlie Crist, Dede Scozzafava, Lincoln Chafee, Lisa Murkowski, etc.
