The reason we’ve lost our liberty in the past was that demagogues like Rand and Ron (and irrespective of political party — neither one is a conservative, and both are RINOs) were not challenged.
It is true that there are plenty of facts to back up your hypothesis on Social Issues, but on Founding Documents issues such as Checks and Balances, I find more examples of word and deed of the Paul’s support to take back our Liberty than to continue to cede it to the anti-culture Liberals in “both” political parties.
Thus, I oppose the Pauls on many issues, and support them on Checks and Balances, as written in the US Constitution.
Thus, I cheer their good efforts and oppose their bad ones. [It is truly a shame that they are not perfect like you and me!]
When choosing a Political Warrior, I choose the one who can deliver the coup de grace,’ and not the one who is clueless, but has a better pair of boots.

BTW, I want to thank you for choosing to this topic on Free Republic.
I invite other FReepers to join in on this reasoned debate, as we have suffered deferring debate on WHAT is good for the Country, rather than the usual WHO is good for the Country. (= “MY candidate is better than YOUR candidate! Nanny, nanny boo-boo!”)

The Pauls have their flaws,
That is for sure,
But are they in sum a curse,
Or are they a cure?
Can their Wheat be separated from their Chaff?
Or do we just sit back and watch the USA turn to ash?
Choose the target,
Select from the few,
Point to the target,
And let not your Warrior go astray!
Would that all of your targets
Were on the battle list, but first
Win one battle at a time,
And Liberty will persist.
