Wrong. Hollow points are used for practice and training is continuous in which enormous volumes of rounds are used. You are wrong.

Nope, wrong again. There are truncated cone loads that duplicate the ballistics of HP ammo. It is sold by the ammo makers as practice rounds for about 40% less cost than the HP duty rounds. No department with a budget buys only the pricey stuff.

I was in the security police in the air force AND worked for local police agencies when I got out, so I have done plenty of practice shooting. We never used expensive ammo, and certainly not hollow points for PRACTICE

Tell me how you know better?

The average armed agent used to qualify and practice with a few hundred rounds a year. Not every agent uses up ammo like an SEAL in the Teams.
