This is getting a little creepy.
According to one estimate, since last year the Department of Homeland Security has stockpiled more than 1.6 billion bullets, mainly .40 caliber and 9mm.
DHS also purchased 2,700 Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles (MRAP).

People have a vague recollection that suddenly Americans lost control of their own lives and communities, but it doesn’t occur to them that the force and violence, intelligence gathering, and widespread use of double agents, spies, and informants that it took to reshape the people was brutal and widespread, and it never ended.

Regardless of their name, Obama's Dept of Homeland Security has just graduated its first class of 231 Homeland Youth. Kids, aged 18-24 and recruited from the resident's AmeriCorp volunteers, they represent the first wave of DHS's Youth Corps, designed specifically to create a full time, paid, standing army of FEMA Youth across the country.

These things get awful fuel economy and tire life (because of the weight).
It’s gonna cost us a fortune to keep these things going as the boys use these things to commute to the donut shop.

Thanks, Ron, but I knew that. My point is that the DHS is composed of several specific services like the Coast Guard, TSA, US Secret Service, etc. A total of 240,000 people work in these areas. If you enlist in the military, you don’t just join the Department of Defense. You join the Army, Navy, Marines, or Air Force. So who do these pseudo military types riding around in the scary black trucks actually work for? TSA? ICE? BSA (Barry’s Secret Army)?
