“married” to another man.

When he’s not advertising his butt beauty on the internet.

Of course two men sharing living accommodations means they must be gay, and therefore worthy of condemnation, right Andy?

Can they find something else, Andrew Sullivan, the pervert fossil on which to focus?

It is noone’s business except their own, unless a pervert leftist can make something out of it that would hurt other’s faith, smear other’s morality, and promote the Leftist Agenda.

I saw a “Three Stooges” comedy once in which Moe, Larry and Curly were in a Pullman car, all sleeping together in the same compartment. Obviously, it’s clear, uncontestable PROOF of their gayness.

I never really got those guys ... Until now ...

I’ve long suspected the Pope was an Amway salesman. They have soap at the Vatican don’t they? Where do you think it comes from........?

"So Benedict's handsome male companion will continue to live with him, while working for the other Pope during the day," Sullivan wrote. "Are we supposed to think that's, well, a normal arrangement?"

No opinion on that, but if we're speaking perversion to power, what about our President and Reggie Love, his "body-man?"

The Pope can be neither gay or straight, he should be celibate.

Any sexual activity by the Pope gay or straight violates Church doctrine.

I would believe that as well. This whole issue is very odd. Why would anyone assume Benedict’s secretary is also going to be the new guy’s top guy? It really makes no sense.

So stupid it lends itself to trying to sensationalize the so far no evidence gay storyline this author is trying to pitch.

Bring out the hard evidence. Innuendo and speculation is at this point just trying to sell papers.

It does seem weird though that he’d remain Benedict’s main helper/aide and also work for the new Pope

IF it is true, IMO, it would be for a smooth transition and that isn't weird but helpful. And the new pope can have time to search for a new aide if he desires or Benedict may not feel the need for an aide/full time. All uncharted territories for them.

And I also think credibility suffers because the author is gay, appears to have an agenda and apparently looks at the world through a homosexual prism. Why describe the secretary as “handsome”? Objective journalism? Actual facts?

If I were to employ the same standards as the author I could conjure up a story along the lines of “Jealous gay writer secretly wishes HE was ex-Pope Benedict to have romantic trist with handsome male secretary.”

Well, of course, we should fight evil, but, in the case of worms like Sullivan, I think that the best way to fight them is to isolate them by ignoring what they say.

Maybe Papa Benedict supports the right to "bear arms."

Actually, that's St. Corbinian's Bear.

I think the perverts cannot understand that the rest of us are the way they are, i.e., obsessed with sex and incapable of controlling themselves.

Yes, this is why all changes in top leaders keep the other guy’s Chief of Staff. There’s plenty of people in the church hierarchy that keep continuity, there’s no special reason he’d see this as helpful.

Any Cardinal right now hasa right hand person/secretary themselves. They aren’t going to dump them as their number one helper/aide because the former Pope’s secretary.

Do we even know he’s said he still wants to?

This is why I am saying this whole issue strikes me as funny and odd and strange.

I remain unconvinced it wouldn’t be weird. Top guys always bring their own closest working confidants - people they know they can trust.

Are you kidding? I'm an NCO. Airmen are for hauling water/hay etc.... I stand there/sit there and 'splain. My natural children and theirs can substitute.

I'm neither ancient or stupid.

I did forget to light the little gas stove after I turned on the gas yesterday morning. For a few minutes.

On the positive side of things, eyebrow trimming has been pushed back to July or August.

I look sort of suprised, now... all of the time.

IF it is true, I only see it as a transition. Even if it’s the aide helping the next aide - all temporary. And when the times comes, it may not be needed at all.

It’s like one boss retiring and giving their loyal right hand a good recommendation, if needed by the new one (which is unknown now). I’ve seen that concept in business many times.
