This teaches the lesson: if you ever shoot somebody, don't call the police. Don't even talk to them. If someone asks, you weren't there. Bury the weapon you used, or toss it in the lake; even a $2000 Wilson Combat 1911 isn't worth losing your freedom or your life quality over. Burn the body if you can with a thermite round, or otherwise make sure it is never ever found.

Since the police and the political system now punish anyone who kills anyone of the protected class (e.g., negroes), you must not allow yourself to be taken by them.

That's my view, after watching Feinstein's show in CSPAN today. This country is screwed. Permanently.

Zimmerman thought he saw a break-in about to happen and called the police. He tried to keep an eye on Trayvon so he could tell the cops where he was. Trayvon saw him and guessed that Zimmerman was suspicious of what he was up to and attacked Zimmerman. When he saw that Zimmerman had a gun, he tried to grab it to shoot Zimmerman with it--but Zimmerman managed to shoot him first. Clear-cut self-defense and Trayvon was the aggressor.

But the mainstream media thought that Zimmerman was a typical white person (not knowing that he was part-Hispanic and part-black), because of his surname, and wanted to use the case to inflame anti-white sentiment among minorities and opposition to laws allowing self-defense.

Once Sharpton got involved, the authorities decided they needed to railroad Zimmerman to avoid race riots.

It will probably all depend on whether the defense can select honest jurors who will judge the case on the merits rather than on what the media has reported.
