Well, around the N. Virginia area, you can’t get near any restaurants from Friday night on ....tables and tables of folks, big parties, long waiting lines. Nope — everything is really cooking around here.

We used to go out at least weekly ...now it’s an every three or four month occasion.

Of course, federal employees, government contractors, retired feds, politicians, academics, lobbyists, diplomats, military and much more. The rest of the country isn't so thick with bureaucrats and hangers on. We have this thing called “profit & loss” and actually having to produce something of benefit.
