In the worst case, we could see clashes between armed law enforcement officials at different levels of government, each regarding themselves duty-bound to enforce their respective understandings of the Constitution. Wide swaths of the country would likely thumb their noses at the central authorities and get away with it. There are about 10 million big game hunters in the United States. By nature of what they hunt they are using rifles that are perfectly suited for sniping. If only 10% of those will stand up for The Constitution you have a sniping force of 1 million. I sure as hell would not want to go up against that!
In addition there are millions of ex military that have these same skills and probably the weapons. The only way they can take away are guaranteed rights under The Constitution is if we let them.
