One cool thing Google has now is an easy way to find when images are mis-appropriated, and presented as original then they are somebody else's.

For example, the picture that is published here in the article, which if you search on the text actually shows up in Google as an image on free republic (hence making it look like it is a free republic image), can be searched using Google's image search function.

If you do, you find the picture in dozens of places, under the heading "if you are going to be dumb".

There is a great collection of cartoons with correct citations, which are most likely properly paid for, here:

They look a lot like the cartoons referenced in this article, except they tell you who actually created them.
