I am no fan of Barry Soeto. For the Reagan Inaugural parade our mounted Civil War Cavalry were issued squares of paper that were to be placed between the hammer and the nipple of the Sharps Rifles that we were carrying. We were warned that if any of us were found without that piece of paper between the hammer and nipple and was missing we could be yanked out of the parade on horseback and handcuffed until the parade was over. Our Revolvers were also to have that paper. Just my experience.

During the 200th celebration of the Battle of Yorktown, The President was present as was Mitterand of France and the Spanish leader too. The British declined to attend.

The Secret Service had all the reinactors remove their flints from their guns.

The military never marches in parades with loaded weapons.

I don’t know if they’ve removed the bolt, but they aren’t going to shoot anything. But everything is a conspiracy these days.
