Lighten up Francis.
I had to look that quotation up. "Stripes" is a movie I had never seen. I thought you were quoting "Logan's Run".
For the benefit of those who had not seen "Stripes":
Psycho: The name's Francis Soyer, but everybody calls me Psycho. Any of you guys call me Francis, and I'll kill you.
Leon: Ooooooh.
Psycho: You just made the list, buddy. And I don't like nobody touching my stuff. So just keep your meat-hooks off. If I catch any of you guys in my stuff, I'll kill you. Also, I don't like nobody touching me. Now, any of you homos touch me, and I'll kill you.
Sergeant Hulka: Lighten up, Francis.

FWIW, plastic cased ammo has been available. The .223 stuff worked nice.

The solution is simple, and one that fits need of the big-government/big-corporate criminal monopoly to force the peasants to be dependent upon them for EVERYTHING.
Outlaw 3D printers, and delegate enforcement of the ban to the BATFE3D.
Just think of all the government jobs it will create!
