This is incredibly spot on. The role of the media as the watchdog of concerned literate citizens has morphed into something unimagined and unimaginable by the Founders. They could understand the profit motive; and they could foresee the danger of voters tapping the public treasury; but they were unable to foresee the mating of media profit with the appeal to, and institutionalization of, demagoguery to the low-information voter.

I think every patriotic American has a duty to cut everything out of their lives that supports the mainstream media and Hollyweird. What kind of impact would it have if 50 million households dropped cable tv and every other service that is connected to these industries? We shouldn't allow one penny of our money to go to those who want to destroy us. I don't know how it would work but it's worth a try.
