I agree with you, just keeping it on topic with the thoughts of the original poster Melas. As to the issues if you see my prior posts, it is on many of the concerns you pointed out. I think in these times, hammering on the social issues does not work as much, it ain't 1955 anymore plus most people are more worried about putting food on the table, a roof over their head and when their son/daughter is coming home from Afghanistan soon. We also need to focus more on common sense issues and tactics as well. I just got a good paying job and I do thank God for that, it is a temp to perm and I'm trying my best to get hired. I'm more worried about me putting food on the table and proving myself at work, keeping the cats in good health, my 74 year old Mom and Dad (75) vs. Obongocare, taxes, food prices, keeping my guns, keeping the cars running, Iran and the Norks (North Korea) and so on. It's just as time goes on, I focus on the real issues, I don't care who is banging who as long as they consent and are at or above the age of consent. It is their responsibility and if they goof up, it is their problem and they need to fix it. We all need to man up and be responsible and focus on the real issues facing us. Well I'm off to the Land of Nod, got work tomorrow and my job kicked me up two tax brackets.

There it is again...another voice trying to convince us of the increasing irrelevance of social issues. The other day someone said we were going to have to stop talking about abortion. The GOP has drafted the memo, and it's beginning to go out, slowly but surely.

The culture is rotting from the inside out. Unborn babies by the millions are being pulled out and thrown in the garbage dump; God is openly scorned and mocked. And we're being urged to accept the idea that two men messing with each others' filthy anal area, or two women abusing themselves with objects, is "marriage."

Tax cuts and fiscal policy won't save the country as long as moral degeneracy is tolerated and embraced. If you don't think those are "real" issues, I don't know what to say to you, but don't expect me to shut up about them.
