We have just learned that Reed Exhibitions has decided to postpone the 2013 Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show.
In the days following Reed Exhibitions announcement that modern sporting rifles would be prohibited from the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show, the leadership of the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) has been in intense, frank discussions with Reed Exhibitions management in an effort to reverse this unacceptable decision. These discussions reached an impasse.
NSSF is in no way affiliated with, nor does it participate in or exhibit at this show in any way. Reed Exhibitions does, however, manage the NSSF-owned SHOT Show (though Reed manages the SHOT Show, all SHOT Show decisions, policies and actions are made at NSSFs direction).
Because of Reeds recent actions, NSSF is considering all options regarding the management of future SHOT Shows.
Interesting. Now NSSF changes its stance? From Jan 19th -
“We urge industry exhibitors and attendees to participate in the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show as planned and encourage attendees to visit the Reed Exhibitions booth at the show to share their concerns and to then enjoy the show.”
NSSF was fully ready to toss the percentage of the 2nd under the bus -
From their announcement:
It is unfortunate that in the current emotionally charged atmosphere this celebratory event has become overshadowed by a decision that directly affected a small percentage of more than 1,000 exhibits showcasing products and services for those interested in hunting and fishing
Once oughta be enough. Fair warning writ LARGE-——Send Reed back whereever they came from. Maybe they were better at running rum back from the colonies?. Their name will certainly be on my shop wall——never to be supported/trusted/considered again. The snivelers understand going broke as well as anybody so let ‘em learn the hard way.
This maybe the Harry Reid-NRA-NSSF-SHOT-Reed connection some of us have been thinking about.
The NRA backs Harry Reid as it keeps SHOT in Vegas.

To let them know you would support them terminating Reed for next year's SHOT SHOW.
SHOT SHOW is the biggest industry firearms event of the year in the US--more than 60,000 attend. So it would be a big hit to Reed if they lost the show.
Have you nver seen Nancy Pelosi or Maxine Waters, or the Wookie? They make that broad that advertises for Progressive look like a beauty queen.
So right you are.
