In May of 2009, Barack Obama made a "joke" at White House Correspondents Dinner. He said about those in attendance:
"Most of you covered me (pause)... All of you voted for me."
Mildly amusing if it weren't true.
Not only do they vote for Obama, they are allied with Obama. They are his public relations people. They protect him. They defend him. In turn, he makes them giddy and tingle.
Chrissie Matthews tingles whenever he even thinks of Obama:
I have to tell you, you know, it's part of reporting this case, this election, the feeling most people get when they hear Barack Obama's speech. My, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don't have that too often.
Richard Wolffe was so painfully obvious an Obama sycophant that even Politico noticed.
"Richard Wolffe was doing PR for Barack Obama throughout the campaign, said Michael Goldfarb, a former aide to John McCain and a writer for the conservative Weekly Standard. At least now, with the new book and the new job, he's dropped even the pretense of being a journalist."Comments like these suggest Wolffe could become a flashpoint in the larger debate over whether journalists are too enamored with Obamas biography and personal style, and not being sufficiently skeptical of his grand policy plans.
Ya think?
In the first Republican presidential debate the very first question out of the mouth of George Stephanopoulos was:
Senator Santorum has been very clear in his belief that the Supreme Court was wrong when it decided that a right to privacy was embedded in the Constitution. And, following from that, he believes that states have the right to ban contraception. Now, I should add that he's said that he's not recommending that states do that. But I do want to get that core question. Governor Romney, do you believe that states have the right to ban contraception? Or is that trumped by a constitutional right to privacy?
It was obviously designed to direct the debate away from Obama's record and was the opening salvo in the "Kill Romney" war.
CNN political corespondent Tom Foreman revealed that he had written a letter to Barack Obama every single day of Obama's first term.

I disagree—FOX and the WSJ are up to their necks in the same muck as the rest of the OFM.
Sad, but true.
Not all that legitimate either.
The Journal is just as or more liberal on its news pages as the NY Times and Wash Post.
FNC spends too much time on celebutards and tabloidism and is chock full of liberals too.
Glenn Beck’s predictions are taking shape before our eyes.. The Caliphate, 0bama’s class/race warfare, gun bans, etc, etc..
The only FOX channel I can deal with is FBC (Business Channel) and haven’t watched that for weeks.
Fox & Friends might as well be The Today Show.
I can’t tell the difference anymore.
If I wanted to watch cooking, pets, and musicians I’d turn it to ANY of the other stations.
Pathetic.
RT.com - Russian - is often much more accurate, at least about US economic and political news - than Fox or WSJ. Sadly.
We turned off cable and network news almost 3 years ago.
I have read enough Wall street journal articles to know that they are a propaganda mouth piece for the left.
When Murdock took over the WSJ, he let all the libs keep their jobs and as a result they’re as lib as the rest of the MSM. Granted every once in a while they’ll have a decent editorial. Fox News sucks. Juan Williams is continually on with Brett, Hannity & O’Reilly. Britt Hume has done a 180 and Bill Kristol is a dyed in the wool Rino. Throw in Jesse Jackson’s gumada along with his relatives....
WSJ is usually biased toward New York centric.
FOX and CNBC invite guests to be questioned on air, and then talk over the top of them as the guests try to answer the hosts’ questions. Worst offenders are Bill O’Reilly on Fox: Becky Quick and Joe Kernan on CNBC. Why they bother to have guests is beyond me!
Investors Business Daily has the best articles and journalistic ethics of any newspaper, IMHO.
Same here, 14 years ago.
Er, not so fast! Check out some of the writers for WSJ like Laura Meckler for instance...very lib.
And need we list the libs and the memos used on Fox...hmmm?
Though, tonight, Bret Baier kicked some Juan Williams ass over Mrs. Clinton’s not under oath testimony.
Paul Gigot ..Editorial director who served under Ronald Reagan...who has been championing conservatism for 30 years is really a mole. Waiting to be in a position to turn the WSJ propaganda mouthpiece for the left. ...Wow.
I think that tinfoil on your head is on backwards.
We could literally end up with a huge foreign force on our soil. Russian and Islamic nations occupying our country didn't seem possible not too long ago. We didn't think of fantasy scenarios of a large invasion force coming from Russia(not since the collapse of the USSR anyway), or any Islamic nation. They had no reason or ability for trying something so preposterous and suicidal.
Now that our military is being purged, and redesigned into what looks like a much smaller and weaker force more focused on political opponents in America. The ridiculous law enforcement and military reports using mainstream beliefs as ways to identify terrorist threats, are basically saying get prepared to murder American citizens who have beliefs showing support for anything good our nation was built on.
Most of us didn't see a tyrant like Obama coming into power so soon. We were expecting tyrants like the Clinton's who are every bit the scumbag tyrants they are made out to be. The fact that Obama eclipsed them with his radicalism just shows his level of extremism.
Obama is principled. I don't think he's as stupid as many believe either. It's easier for liberals to sound stupid because they are arguing against the truth. It's obvious that the leftist movement had good strategy that shaped public opinion by repeating frivolous arguments. There are a lot of liberals out there educated on the Constitution only to help them find ways to destroy it.

There are many traitors responsible for our dire situation. When it comes to ranking the threats I easily put our msm at the top, above Obama and the vile forces out there who would slaughter your entire family on his orders. The media gave them their power. We have little chance of victory as long as this enormous propaganda machine is reaching people. It's the reason we have lost so many of our Constitutional rights over the years. Now that it's got the dictator it's always wanted the propaganda, and suppression of news that could harm their unholy cause has been increased dramatically.
