Just read something from link on Drudge.
Talk about the 1 percenters, in this case, the world's 1 percenters. The world's planners have solutions to sustain the global economic growth, you guess it, urgent need to address 'climate change'.
This one sentence caught my eyes: "It is better to try to pre-empt events like Hurricane Sandy, ......"
No matter how 'successful' they may appear, how clueless can they be? The seduction of power may have gone over their heads.
Truly collosal hubris.
Sounds like they want a Climate War. Instead of the war on drugs they will fight a war on climate disruption. Good luck with that war. Another useless endeavor. And since progressives are in charge, they can only make the situation worse.
Yep. Climate change (or whatever it's called right now) doesn't scare me. The Earth's weather has always changed. We'll figure out a way to adapt, if it turns out to be something that's actually relevant.
No, what scares me is that "Somebody" will "Do Something", and really screw things up.
I think that we're about over this....AlGore almost got somewhere, then overreached and sensible people pushed back. But, there are a whole lot of stupid people out there, and plenty more greedy ones ready to take advantage.
