I think it is a good bet that Lewis either did the stabbing himself or knows which of his companions that night did. He got off on he plead to obstructing justice and paid a hefty fine. He did pay off the families of both the victims to avoid civil suits. I think Lewis is not guilty much like OJ Simpson is not guilty of the stabbings he was accused of.
You may want to look at the transcripts that show every witness, except one, including the Prosecution witnesses, state that Lewis attempted to break up the fight.
