You may want to look at the transcripts that show every witness, except one, including the Prosecution witnesses, state that Lewis attempted to break up the fight.
Lewis plead to obstructing justice (lying to police). Think what you want, but I think that if Lewis didn’t do it, one of his buddies did and he knows it. Did they ever find the bloody white suit that Lewis was wearing that night? I didn’t think so. I wonder why anybody would want to hide evidence like that? I may be just a judgmental old a-hole but I have a real problem with a possible murderer/admitted perjurer being glorified like he is and put up as a role model for kids. Ray Lewis embodies much of what I think is wrong with pro sports in the USA.

You need to go back and read the transcripts and the articles on the case. The police had no evidence on Lewis’ buddies, which is why the Prosecutor brought Lewis into the case.
It was absolute BS by the prosecutor,they had nothing on anbody...so he targeted the person who had the most to lose and hoped Lewis would point the finger to his friends.
All of the witness stated that Lewis attempted to break up the fight. Lewis did exactly what his defense atty told him to do...There was a desperate Prosecuting atty who put the squeeze on Lewis. But as corroborated by the Witnesses, Lewis attempted to get people from his Limo back into the car and eventually attempted to break up the fight.
You have a State Atty with no evidence and possibly blood on your clothes, although you didn’t do anything. Are you going to trust the government atty to not go after you for murder.
Go read it...He didn’t do a damn thing, except be at the wrong place at the wrong time, tried to do the right thing and had an overly aggressive prosecutor abuse his power and target him.
So nobody killed those two men and Lewis paid a settlement to their families not to avert the coming civil case but out of the goodness of his heart? Da Nile is not just a river. They went from losing the last 4 out of 5 regular season games to beating Elway and Brady in their houses.

Yes, you are right. Both Harbaughs are very good head coaches and it shows in what they have done with their respective teams. It should be an entertaining Super Bowl this year. Garrett is probably safe and may even grow into the position eventually. I don’t think Dallas will get a top coach as long as Jerry Jones is the owner.
