Be very careful about accepting emotionally based debates on gun control.
Everyone feels the tragedy of Newtown, but “feeling” is not always rational thought.
We must be very wary of the Lefts emotional ploys.
The # one thing they are playing this time is that it was innocent Children.
Lanza himself was only 17.
The next thing they are pulling is trying to pass legislation based on emotion that uses “Airy terminology”
What is an assault weapon? A rock could be or a machine gun could be.
There is no definition.
This allows them to shapeshift the argument and move the goal posts.
Similarly they are now bandying about the term “Military style feature”
What does that mean?
In 1776 a flintlock was a military style feature!!
“High Cap Magazine”
NY,CA,NJ,MA and some other defined High Cap as any thing over 10 rounds during the last ban.
Now NY passed a law based on Sandy Hook that defines it as 7 rounds.
Next time it will be 5 and the next 3, until they pass the “Barny Fife” law that says you may only have ONE BULLET which must not be in the gun and has to be registered with the local Sheriff.

Actually according to US vs Miller in order for a firearm to be protected by the 2nd it must have a militarily useful purpose.
So far every report I've read said Adam Lanza was 20, his brother Ryan is 24.
