i never did assume these people use logic, i said it’s not logically possible to equate law abiding people with criminal whackjobs. you can see my statement would reject gun grabbers as being logical because they do equate law abiding people the same as criminals murderer maniacs - ie “the problem” that will be solved by taking their guns away.
besides anyone who looks at all the gun laws and restricted zones for carry and sees what criminals are’doing now, if they think the solution is “more laws”, is insane and intent on eradicating law abiding folks’ gun rights.
That would be my position, too, i.e. that they are illogival. But then I wouldn’t bring it up in the first place because logic is in such shirt supply everywhere you go, including university philosophy departments. It would be like pointing out that libs are vertibrates or that they walk erect.
