Wikipedia is a world treasure.
It is our generations library of Alexandria.
I reference it many times a day, every day.
I cant remember randomly encountering erroneous information in anything I have ever read there.
In issues concerning divisive political issues, of course there will be disagreements and outright distortions.

To say I should disregard an excellent article like “Tibet during the Ming Dynasty” because some left wing nut is putting misinformation into an article about a current left wing nut politician is to say we should throw out several babies with the bath water.
Life is short, smile while you still have teeth. Be happy, not because everything is good, But because you can always find the good side of everything. Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect. It simply means that you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.
I agree with everything that you said.
It’s like an encyclopedia, a boringly written and undistinguished encyclopedia, not the freaking Library of Alexandria, which contained actual literature: priceless and irreplaceable literature.
Being happy doesn’t mean looking beyond imperfections. I don’t even know why everyone expects to be happy, or why that’s a goal, whether it’s of the casual acceptance or brighter side seeking variety. Certainly previous generations and eras didn’t expect to feel our sort of happiness.
“I cant remember randomly encountering erroneous information in anything I have ever read there.”
Then you must not know much, or don’t happen to look up stuff you know about. Or maybe you’re using a ridiculously strict definition of “erroneous.”
