Snarky Bob, Sam Adams said it better than I ever could:

"If ye love wealth better than liberty,
the tranquility of servitude
better than the animating contest of freedom,
go home from us in peace.
We ask not your counsels or your arms.
Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.
May your chains set lightly upon you,
and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

You must also realize that the most dangerous man in the world is a man who is prepared to die for his cause, and has taken the time to make that reality as difficult as possible for his enemy. A prepared man with a plan is a dangerous animal, perhaps the most dangerous animal on the planet.

You obviously don't share the depth of conviction that many do, in regards to this issue, and it would appear your comment is designed to inflame opinion, as opposed to offering anything constructive. Some would call you a troll. You can spout armchair commandos all you want, but there are many for whom this play to limit the second amendment is that proverbial "bridge too far" or the final straw.

The AWB that happened in the 90s didn’t cause a revolution and shooting at Redcoats from behind trees.

It’s not intended to be flamebait, merely pointing out that the scenarios that keep getting repeated over and over and over all have a common underlying theme. Namely that this is the very last straw, not be confused with all the other last staws. This is the final line in the sand. This is the issue that causes revolution, and that the revolutionaries will win.
They’ll win because the authorities won’t move against fellow citizens, that an enraged populace can’t be stopped yadda yadda yadda.
As a group we’ve been unable to get control of a political party and get an acceptable candidate through a primary. But somehow we’ll revolt against the govt and win? We couldn’t even retake the Senate.

My Grandma used to refer to blustery chest thumping as selling yourself “wolf tickets” IMHO that’s what all the revolution talk is. I’m sure there are people who would really take action, but most people won’t.
