Even though the 2013 Rand McNally road atlas does not identify any town named Glynco, Ga, this sprawling 1,600 acre campus with its own zip code-31524- is the locus for extensive Department of Homeland Security (DHS) expansion. “Plans are currently under way to build and expand facilities at Glynco to conduct a wide array of programs to support the Homeland Security mission.”(1)
Located in the midst of numerous senior citizen and retirement communities, the center is in Golden Isles, “…a series of barrier islands noted for their recreation and retirement living atmospheres” according to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center description of the area. (1)

When this Homeland Security Department came along I thought it was a good thing. Man, what I an idiot I was. The government sucked me in big time. I thought that the agency was going to be involved with the security of the nation. I guess it was the name that faked me out.
Nor should they. America died with passage of the Patriot Act.
Great location. Now we can spend extra to hurricane proof it.
How can DHS be other than the fist of the tyrant when Islamists have been appointed to top positions?
I’ve spent quite a bit of time at GLYNCO.....usually had fun at night when I wasn’t in some class.....LOL

The Department of Homeland Security, with it’s creepy nazi sounding name. Has twice the budget of, and the same number of people as the US Marine Corps. And it’s aimed squarely at us.
One has to remember that many of the entities within DHS are legacy agencies that were taken from other departments and placed in DHS. Coast Guard, Border Patrol, U.S. Customs, INS, and the Secret Service were all taken out of their respective departments and placed under the new bureaucracy and then they tossed in the newly created TSA.
And DHS as protection from islamic attacks is a laugh. The Borders are wide open. Islamists are permeating our government. Bush loved them. Hillary has an MB connected chick at her side 24/7. Grover Norquist loves them. We see soldir forbidden from criticizing the Taliban enemy or their favorite hobby, pedophilia. We see the FBI scrubbing all terror training materials of any references to islam.
The borders are wide open.
We supply weaspons to the Mexican cartels, the Libyan branch of Al Qeida, the Syrian Al Qeida, etc.
We are flooding the nation with every variety of moslem we can. Pakistani, Somali, Iraqi, Afghan, Egyptian, Yemeni, etc.
It’s a fair conclusion that the last thing the US government wants is to stop islamic attacks.
This raises the question. What is DHS actually for?

There is a Homeland Security base somewhere near the northern boundary of the Willapa Hills in southwest Washington State.
Black helicopters fly right over my house when traveling between Portland, Oregon, and that base.
One night a group of them flew over and had searchlights on, raking the ground. It was 10:30 at night and over a residential neighborhood - crass and totally unnecessary behavior.
For now, these purchases only compete for supply.
There’s no staff available to use this quantity of ammo.
They could double the military and police in this country and remain “uncompetative” with free Americans.
Keep in mind that less than half the military are proficient with firearms.
Is there some thought that by making jobs so hard to find that at some point folks will see signing up for a DHS brown-shirt squad, to oppress fellow Americans, as a viable career?
I’ve also just recently woken up. I supported President Bush, the Patriot Act, DHS, etc... I thought they were supposed to help keep me safe and free. Little did I know the true mission was to strip me of my freedom and make me live in an Orwellian surveillance state. The Democrats and Republicans have been bought and paid for, and their masters demanded that the Constitution be shredded. Its done. Now we have to live with the monster we unleashed.
If it will be a bad thing under Democrat control then it’s not a good thing because it was implemented under Republican control.
This is a lesson that Republicans have refused to learn. Blame Democrats for being what they are and you won’t be wrong, but Republicans handed them the keys.
DHS was proposed, funded, established and expanded under George W. Bush and the vast majority here on FR cheered. Only the few remaining paleoconservatives and libertarians were alarmed and spoke out. They were shouted down.
And so, here we are. Feel safe yet?
