Big Oil is bad — so bad that Al Gore is heroically trying to save the planet by taking as much of their cash as possible. However, you probably won’t be hearing about this sale in Gore’s next Dirty Weather Report.
Gore must have been reluctant to turn over control of his foundering media baby to Al Jazeera knowing he’d have to watch it make a move to the right, but hey, business is business.
Glenn Beck’s bid for Current was rejected. Gee, I wonder why.

There are multiple levels of hypocrisy in this transaction. Al Gore gets accused of being a lot of things, but “inconsistent” is not one of them.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Al Gore and Al Jazeera both dislike America. So they share a common goal. Thus all other hypocrytical circumstances otherwise or negligible.
I suppose it’s the only way he could afford one of Obama’s vacations in Hawaii before the end of the world!..../sarc
When they’re not dangling a multi-million dollar check in front of them, Manbearpig calls Big Oil evil. But when they are offering him multiple millions, it’s more like “what do you want me to call you, baby?”

So now all of Al Gore’s Global Warming research will be funded by Big Oil. Hey Al, how many carbon credits did you need to purchase to offset the selling of assets to Big Oil ? (There is a part of me that feels sorry for these young liberal fools ... but didn’t they ever stop to wonder why Gore lived in a mansion (or two) that used more power than a small town?
Didn’t they wonder about the hit on the hotel maid? Or the lies about inventing this and that and whatever?
I don’t understand how liberals can be played so easily... must be the groupthinnk.
