An interesting view. I suspect that what the left is concerned about is not so much the existence of the firearms, but their legality. Make them illegal or registered, it does not matter. Then it is only a matter of a couple of generations, and you reduce gun ownership to political insignificance without door to door confiscations.

Gun registration is gun confiscation:

it won’t be a rebellion, it will be a revolution. former is unlawful, latter is against the unlawful.

A dictatorship will form in the vacuum. If we’re lucky, the United States of America, or whatever amalgam results, will again try to rebuild. If we’re very lucky, the victors will reinstate the Constitution as the law of the land.

No dictatorship. The fighting will not likely end until the Constitution, and strict interpretation thereof, is restored.

Just as likely though, we’ll face fractious civil wars fought over issues we’ve not begun to fathom, and a much diminished state or states will result, perhaps guided by foreign interests.

Certain politically "blue" states/regions will likely be expelled from a future union, with massive population shifts of those still seeking Liberal Utopia and those preferring a Constitutional federation.

It is an interesting take on things. He declined to mention what other Nations might do if things deteriorate that much - we are a ripe plum in the big picture and I imagine a few may decide to band together to “pick” the plum. I wonder how a snag like that might play out if the People still have enough weapons in circulation...not to mention some potentially true Patriots controlling military might.

Without going into great detail here on a public blog site, there are many in the military who will not follow the order to shoot fellow Americans!

Guess which way those firearms will be pointed?

Stay safe my fellow Americans and know we stand with the American people!!!!!

If memory serves me, back in 1999 the California legislature had passed a law mandating that all "Assault Rifles" had to be registered with the DOJ by December 31st, 1999. I remember seeing posters warning that non-compliance would make violators of this law instant felons.

The deadline came and went and I recall reading an article published after the fact, that out of an conservative estimated of over 4 million assault weapons (legal or otherwise) only something like a "whopping" 280,000 weapons were registered.

From that point, there was nary a peep out of DOJ or any other gun grabbing fascists concerning the state's utter failure to intimidate California gun owners..

Perhaps ten percent of those, 4-5 million, would support a rebellion in some way,

Maybe picket signs on a corner but I suspect those folks won't be willing to use up their sick days or vacation time to participate in the revolution.

After all, there's mortgages and new vehicles to pay for, kids to shuttle to and from soccer, football, baseball, etc.......They just won't have the time.

But they'll boast online about it.........

-——independently-functioning active resistance cells——

= militias

This is precisely what took place in East Tennessee in the 1790’s where the British and the Cherokee’s were a threat. The citizens were armed and grouped together. They elected a leader that became the officer in command

Collectively, the isolated groups gathered and marched to South Carolina where they soundly destroyed the Brirish army and turned the tide of the Revolution
